I spent yesterday afternoon at the Firiel Skin and Hair Care open house, courtesy of the owner, Miki Cavanaugh.

It was kind of funny, because Miki set me up in this little elevated area with a railing around it (part of the lobby, next to the water cooler), and I felt a little like a zoo exhibit. I sat there making excerpt booklets and plotting my next book, and told people, “You’re seeing what I do at home, only not this dressed up.”

(tootling of trumpets) Of all the nice people who came by and entered the drawing, Barbara Wright won the Bound to Love Her gift basket.

Oh, the purpleness...
