Should you be inclined to dress your pet for Halloween, there are a lot of cute/effective costume ideas out there: cheerleaders, spiders, hot dogs, lobsters… But in looking at eBay pix, there seems to be one costume that doesn’t work. I am referring to the chicken costume.

This costume does not make your pet look like a chicken. The best it can accomplish is to give the impression that someone has balanced a stuffed chicken on your pet’s head or back.

Or that your pet is erupting, Alien-like, out of a chicken’s stomach.

From there, it just gets worse.
