You know how CuteOverload has Caturday and Bunday? Well, today is Lobsterday at ElvesAmongUs!
First up is this doggy lobster costume, from eBay store Pets Playshop (costumes are under Holiday and Seasonal).
Owner: Mommy’s gonna take your picture now! Oh, you such a good dog. What a pretty dog!
Chihuahua: Shoot me now.
Next we have a New Vintage 1970 Lobster Claw Harmonica Toy Music Fish.
It looks like a real Lobster Claw and when you blow into it on the side you play music like a harmonica.
There you go.
Now so far, I might buy either of those items (Musette in a lobster costume! Playing a harmonica!), but the next item seems a little pricey.
According to the eBay seller, this tan-and-white number is originally from J. Crew, and had a retail price of $198. (I know!) As of ElvesAmongUs press time, there was one bid, for $129.99. (rolls eyes) Plus, looking at it makes me itch.
Now, I know what you’re saying.
Why would I want a lobster dress? What I really want are lobster slippers!
Anyone would, except for the person who must have received these as a gift, because the seller says,
“This is a NEW ITEM, NEVER WORN OR EVEN TRIED ON!”
It’s almost like they’re proud of the fact.

Just yesterday Zoe was begging for a dress with lobsters on it. (It was at Marshall’s) It was damn cute, but probably not appropriate wedding attire (since it’s in California, rather than Maine.) She was crushed.
