There are a few novelty ice-cube shapes out there. Strawberries and apples for your fruit-themed drinks, fish-bone shaped molds for a certain kind of Taiwanese beer, Playboy logos, for… I don’t know why anyone would use those. But this set of mice-shaped molds is perhaps the most inexplicable of all.

I’m betting the feline pictured doesn’t give a hoot for lemonade or Old Fashioneds. The seller says that:
Ice Mice are just the ticket for creating mice-cold drinks that will have your guests squealing with delight!
So maybe this is geared toward seven-year-olds.
Among ice-cube molds featuring dogs, cats and rubber ducks, one stood out as something I might actually buy.
I see a party, in a basement, with Roy Orbison on the stereo and Bugles for snacks. Works for me.

(cough, choke, gasp…) I think I see a new episode of Fear Factor.
That explains why the cat is making that face.
